Car DUELS Meta Tier List
S–B priorities for Garage weight and bumper upgrades.
Car DUELS [NOW!] does not publish a public named car roster or an official developer tier list yet. Ranking imaginary model names would mislead players. This hub instead ranks upgrade priorities and fight styles around the two Garage levers that actually decide Red vs Blue sumo: vehicle weight and bumper force, plus the driving habits that convert those stats into eliminations.
Use this page after you understand the mode basics in Getting Started and while you spend Cash from codes and match income.
Ranking criteria (read before the letters)
We tier priorities, not fan-fiction vehicles:
- Impact on shove contests near the arena edge.
- Value per Cash during early-to-mid progression.
- Forgiveness for newer drivers still learning controls.
- Synergy with team play in last-team-standing rounds.
Meta shifts as %100 CARS continues early active development after the 2026-07-26 create/release window. Recheck after patches on the Updates Hub.
S tier —buy / train these first
Bumper force upgrades
Stronger front bumpers turn clean nose hits into real displacements. If two drivers have equal skill, bumper force often decides who leaves the rim. Spend here early—especially right after redeeming welcome (3k Cash) when active.
Meaningful weight upgrades
Heavier vehicles resist panic yeets when you are pinned. Weight is the difference between “I almost held” and “I held, then converted.” If you constantly lose contested shoves despite good angles, you are under-weighted for your lobby.
Edge literacy (skill tier)
Treat edge awareness as an S-tier “upgrade” you cannot buy. Disengage timing and tangential escapes raise win rate as much as Garage rows. Drill it via How to Win.
A tier —strong next purchases and habits
Balanced mid Garage steps
When the true S upgrade is still unaffordable, take the mid step that moves either weight or bumper force—do not stall forever saving for a dream spike while every lobby out-masses you.
Angle discipline
Off-center bumper approaches that send enemies outward while you stay tangential. This is the mechanical twin of raw force.
Numbers play
Playing for team count (saves, refusing greedy 1v2s) outperforms highlight chasing in Red vs Blue. A-tier habit, S-tier outcomes.
B tier —situational or later
Comfort / non-sumo spends
If a Garage option does not clearly help contested rams, park it behind real stats. Cosmetics and sidegrades are fine after you stop bouncing off heavier rivals.
Pure center-demo habits
Center brawling looks fun and sometimes works, but as a default plan it is B-tier compared with edge conversion. Use mid to stage, not to live forever.
Unverified code hunting
Chasing unconfirmed strings like like20k instead of playing quests and dailies is poor EV. Verify on the Codes Hub, then return to matches.
Practical shopping order
- Claim active codes (
welcomewhen live). - Buy the cheapest upgrade that noticeably improves bumper or weight.
- Play a short block of matches to feel the difference.
- Bank toward the next S-priority spike.
- Only then dabble in B-tier comfort buys.

Matchup framework (stat vs stat)
| Your relative stats | Enemy relative stats | Default plan |
|---|---|---|
| Higher bumper, similar weight | Weaker bumper | Hunt clean nose hits; force rim angles |
| Higher weight, weaker bumper | Strong bumper light car | Accept fewer coin-flip head-ons; bait overcommit, then pin |
| Behind on both | Ahead on both | Play numbers, steal finishes, farm Cash between fights |
| Even stats | Even stats | Outplay via camera, disengage, teammate angles |

Style tiers for drivers
S-style: Converter
Takes high-percentage edge fills, resets after each KO chance, guards allies. Pairs with any solid Garage build.
A-style: Anchor
Heavy, patient, holds mid-ring space so teammates can convert. Needs weight investment.
B-style: Chaos chaser
Constant full-send demos. Entertaining, streaky, feeds when lobbies get heavier. Graduate toward Converter habits.
Watch how high-level lobbies path on the Players Hub and copy spacing, not just aggression.
What this tier list will never do
- Invent official car model names that are not publicly documented.
- Pretend a static S–F vehicle chart exists while the game is still early.
- Ignore Cash economy realities—power is gated by codes, quests, dailies, and match play.
- Recommend ban-risk automation as a “meta pick”(Scripts).
How to update your personal list
After each session, write three lines:
- Which shove I lost that a weight bump would have saved.
- Which hit scraped instead of converting (bumper or angle?).
- Next Cash target.
That personal tier list beats any copied chart. When the developers eventually publish named vehicles or balance notes, this hub will pivot—until then, stats and habits remain the truth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Car DUELS questions.
Is there an official Car DUELS car tier list?
No public official named roster or developer tier list is available yet. This hub ranks bumper and weight upgrade priorities instead.
What should I upgrade first?
Prioritize stronger bumpers and meaningful vehicle weight—the S-tier Garage goals—using Cash from codes and matches.
Why don’t you list car names?
Inventing model names would be misleading. Until %100 CARS publishes a roster, evaluate Garage options by sumo stats.
Does skill still matter if I buy S-tier upgrades?
Yes. Edge literacy and bumper angles remain S-tier. Read How to Win and Controls.
How often will this meta change?
Often while the game is in early active development. Follow the Updates Hub after patches.
Where do I see how strong players spend power?
Observe lobbies and review community-focused tips on the Players Hub.
